Any NFL gurus out there?

I just hired madden NFL05 on PS2 and loved it!
Can anyone tell me how the plays get those freaky names, like "aggie cloud star"?

Alot of the letters on offense are the routes the receivers run. Or some plays like a WR Post, that means a reciever runs a post route. That's basically a straight run for about ten yards or more, then a quick cut to the inside and the ball should be thrown so when the WR cuts to the post, the ball is in his hands. Ok that was a long run-on. LOL

But yea, most of those play names on Madden come from routes by the WR, or running backs.

HB Counter is half back counter. The running back runs a counter route once he gets the ball from the QB. I wish I had a pad and pen and you were here cause it really is simple. The defensive coverages are usually the hardest to understand. But once ya do, playing Madden is a breeze.

Far as I’m concerned, Eddie’s the complete package. Technique aside, his rhythm playing, feel, songwriting, tone, riffs, leads, man, it’s all there. It’s like the best-tasting beer you ever drank in your life! ~Zakk Wylde
