I am going to have to respectfully disagree with your statement that moving Smoltz was a bad idea....he is 12-6, his ERA is about 2.90. In the last ten games he has posted 6 wins and 1 Loss and out of the 10 games he appeared in they won 9 of them.
When he pitches he really pushes the team to win and I think even though I do agree that he was awesome out of the bullpen. Sometimes a team needs that extra uummpphh in the early innings leading up to the end of the game.
Either way I hate the braves i am actually a Yankees fan. But John Smoltz is one of my favorite players to watch just for sheer intensity and leadership. The guy is a pure classy act!
