Blackburn Rovers vs Arsenal
What ? :
One of the most significant games for Blackburn Rovers this season, and the first time that Blackburn Rovers has featured in the semi-final of the F.A. Cup for 60 years...
Where ? :
Unfortunately, it does mean a trip to Wales, as the game will be played at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium
When ? :
April the 16th at 12:15 p.m.
Opponents ? : Unfortunately for Blackburn Rovers, it's against Arsenal, a team who are going to win fuck all else this year. Usually, they would still be in line for the Premiership and the Champions League and so would be focusing on that, but because they are out of everything else, they will field their strongest team with all their top players returning from injury...
Do Blackburn Rovers stand a chance ? :
Well, anyone outside of Blackburn has pretty much written them off. However, Arsenal are the only team to have beaten Blackburn Rovers in 9 games, the only goal they have conceded in that run. If Blackburn can put in a solid performance like before, then they may just be able to nick it on the break. Our key man will be Morten Gamst Pederson once again, boy band look-a-likee.
I'm as excited as you are about this now, mondola, so where can I follow the action ? :
BBC F.A. Cup and wait for the Live F.A. Cup link to appear. Or for you UK peeps, get down t'pub and look out for mondola on the telly. He'll be the fat bastard eating all the pies in the blue and white shirt. You won't be able to miss me !!!
This thread is for the sole purpose of this game. So I'm going to be building it up today. However, from around 4 o'clock this afternoon (it's 07:37 here at the time of posting) I will be away from this site and computers and hence the internet in general.
Please post predictions pre-match and congratulations / commiserations post match.
Of course, if I manage to get my face painted blue and white for the game, I'll message the picture to wahwah and ask him to post it up here for me !!!
I'm really looking forward to this game and can't believe that it is nearly here. I am really optimistic that we have a good chance. I don't think that it will be a pretty game, as Semi Finals generally are not, but I do believe we have a good chance of going through... So long as we don't loose oure concentration for 90 minutes !!!

Yeah, wish we had made a game out of it and that that fucking linesman had kept his flag down !
