At last!!!! Our cricketers show our footballers exactly what it means to pull on an England shirt by stuffing the Aussies for the first time in 16 years.

The test series has kept me glued to the TV (even on holiday) and we thoroughly deserved the victory. With fantastic young players such as Flintoff, Pietersen and Harmison (who comes from my home town by the way), it looks like we may have the best team in the world for the forseeable future.

can i first just say that it is awesome England have won some major sporting trophy at last ... last time was 2003 i believe when England won the Rugby world cup ... beating Aussies in the final .

can i also say though ... cricket ... 10am - 6pm pretty much everyday for what seemed like eternity ... bored the living shite out of me ... i prefer the double bill of friends 11am - 12pm than cricket all day. you can condense the ashes into a 15 minute show and see all you need to see. but nooooooooo ...

anyway ... i am honestly glad England have won something ... but christ what boring TV it makes
