ESPN \"Old School\", Aug. 8th
Personally, I find this pretty cool.
Starting August 8th (this Sunday) ESPN, as part of the ongoing 25th Anniversary, will present "ESPN Oldschool"...featuring the return of several sportcasters from it's past.
For some of us older guys, this is terrific! Folks like Charley Stiner, Greg Kilbourn (eh), ect will join current anchors for episodes of Sports Center.
I would love to see Keith Oberman and Dan Patrick together again for "The Big Show"!
Then again, "old-school" is my middle name!

I personally have never liked Kilbourn, but Dan Patrick will always be one of my favorites. You know how I feel about Stuart, so I'm looking forward to the change. It'll be nice to wake up and not have Linda Cohn be the first thing I see in the morning. YUCK

I know. Last night I had the misfortune of turning on ESPN during the 11:00 PM SC and saw her trying to jaw up (pun inteneded) the X games and some stupid motorcycle trick thingy. I'm sure it's cool if you are there but she was trying SO HARD to make it like the fucking Super Bowl I was embaressed for her.

So we know Cohn a hag and Stuart's booyah is way overkill-who do you guys like as current SC hosts? I prefer Karl Ravitch and John Anderson-Anderson absolutely mangled a take last week to end the show and instead of trying to stumble through and correct he just said "I blew it-You can just read it" Laughed my ass off..

I'm a HUGE fan of the NFL show with Merreil Reese, Ron Jaworski who I think is the best anyalyst out there, and Suzy Kolber I wouldn't mind having a piece of her custard pie
John Anderson is pretty cool, but I dont really watch Sportscenter all that much, atleast not without dozing off. I have Comcast Sportsnet in my area so I pretty much watch that all the time.

Current ESPN'ers......I'm a Dan Patrick man. Greenberg is okay, but I'm with Sucka - I love EDGE NFL Matchup - that is the SHIZZNIT!

Yea, Dan Patrick is the man. As much as I love that NFL show, Merrill says some silly shit just to get ppl to watch. He predicted that the Eagles wont even make the playoffs this year, and you guys should have heard Sportsradio here in town that night. Sean Salisbury is in that same boat cause I'm convinced that he just likes to hear the sound of his own voice. Ron Jaworski is just flat out the fucking man. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the tryouts for the Philadelphia Soul. He's a super nice guy, and you wont find many guys that know more about football then this guy.
