Re: Fantasy Football 2004
Just a reminder that the draft is this saturday at 11:15am EST. Be there or...well you're fucked! LOL Actually, if you do your prerankings and are unable to attend then you should be ok. There are six teams so far and there is room for a few more so if any of you lurkers out there wish to join please feel free.

Re: Fantasy Football 2004
Another newbie question here. Will we be selecting (whether we get it or not) from all current players from the league? Also, how many players will we be selecting for the team, in other words are linemen and that sort of thing stock or pre-picked? Thanks

Nah, no offensive, or defensive linemen will be selected. It's just "skill" positions, and two team defenses. So instead of picking defensive players, you'll be picking whole team defenses like Baltimore, or Tampa. And yea, it's only current NFL players you'll be picking from, so no Elway or Marino shit Eric! LOL

Re: Fantasy Football 2004
Okay, so basically we choose one teams defense as a whole and we get to select our offensive players minus the linemen, right?

That is correct, except I believe I set it up so we can select two team defenses. Last year I had the Eagles and the Cheifs defense which sucked ass, so I just kept the Eagles defense in there all year except for the bye week that they had.

Re: Fantasy Football 2004
I am such an ass. I haven't even done my prerankings yet! I guess I'll spend my lunch doing that. I have a pretty good idea who I'm going to take, and I hope I can make the draft tomorrow morning. Might hit the bars tonight with a sweetie so it might be a loooooooong night. I'm takin whiskey to the party tonight and I'm lookin for somebody to squeeeeeeeeze! Plus she might wanna make sure I'm up for my breakfast, so I just might have to skip the draft tomorrow.

Re: Fantasy Football 2004
I went in and did some prerankings, not exactly sure how it works though. Will it automatically try to get me the players I have pre-selected in the draft tomorrow? Also, it didn't tell me how many of each I can choose so I took three of everything I wanted.

Re: Fantasy Football 2004
Well when you're doing your rankings it's not going to tell you how man of one position that you're going to need. I think I ranked about 50 players that I'd want. Three of everything you want is good, but I usually do about five of each, except for kickers cause I think I can get the two I want.
How it works is it will draft the players in the order that you've ranked them if those players are still available.
