Football Camp, finally here
Preseason has started. It's better than Christmas. Waiting for the offseason to finally end. Nothing like seening physical abnormalities running at high speed and trying to kill each other.
I guess it also helps my team is defending the championship, but I also would get pumped in the 80/90's when they would be coming off a 1-15 season. But this year the Pats are better equiped to defend than last time and can't wait to September to see how we match up against the Colts again.
Anyone else stoked about the season?

Re: Football Camp, finally here
Hey, have all the Lion's draft picks signed. Pats had three not signed, two of them signed today, but Watson, the last pick of the first round is still holding out.
Where do this kids get off. It is already determined at their slot how much they'll get paid. It only puts you in a hole. The coach is pissed, veterans are pissed, and how the hell do you learn the offense/defense in a shortened period. I know money makes the world go round, but how can you turn down
$31million like Winslow,Jr.! How much more does he think he can make never stepping on ta professional field. Sorry, had a few beers, I'll get off the soap box now.

They have everyone signed but Williams, they say because his agent hasn't had the time to negiotiate ! I could not believe it when I heard Winslow Jr. turned down an 40 million dollar contract!

Boys, boys, boys...none of your teams matter ok. There's only one team that counts and that's the Philadelphia Eagles. I'll see whichever one of you AFC teams in Jacksonville come January ok. See ya then.

LOL, Seriously I'm very excited for this season. Ya know, this is the first camp that I can remember that the Eagles havent had atleast one holdout. That's a very good sign, eventhough Corey Simon is still very upset that he hasn't been offered a contract yet. Still, spirits are high in Lehigh PA where the Birds are preparing for another Super Bowl or bust season. I wish them the best, and as always I'm going to be behind them no matter what happens. Best of luck to all your squads guys, and here's to everybody staying healthy man.

Re: Football Camp, finally here
So much for the healthy part. Urlacher will be out with a hamstring pull for 4-6 weeks. Ouch...

Well 4-6 weeks then he should be back for the first or second game then, but it is never a good thing to miss training camp, it will probobly take him a couple of games after that to really get into game shape.

Plus you know how hamstring injuries are. Those bastards can linger for the whole damn season. I really like Brian too, eventhough I think he's a tad overrated. I hope he can get healthy and return to top form.

Re: Football Camp, finally here
I'm in the medical field, and hamies are ugly. They actually can detach from the bone, kind of like groin strains, and go unnoticed. Also, training them is a bitch, b/c it's not like hamstring curls are the way to go. Without getting geeky, you need to train them in a certain way that mimics ballitic movements and very tough to do b/c the rest of the leg can compensate.
Sucka, Pats are going Eagle hunting in Jacksonville.
I agree Urlacher is probably a little overrated becasue he had Ted Washington and Keith Traylor in front of him for his first 2 years, then Washingtion came to the Pats, and Urlacher didn't have a great year, decent, but not like before. It shows what a great sport this is because no one guy, ie Vick, can win it for you. The team needs to be there.

Yes Sucka the birds will be coming out of the NFC.
The Seahawks that is. The team with the ugliest uniforms in the whole NFL is going to Jacksonville. Top 5 offense a revamped defense with Grant Wistrom on the line-Mark it down boys-Seattle vs. New England in january

Re: Football Camp, finally here
If that is the case, I will get a preview in October at Gillette. Should be a good game. As long as Hasselback and do what he did at the end of the season, Hawks should have a good year.
