way to go Iverson!! its a game man... a game... we aint even talking about practice.... lol... THEY STINK!!! lets face it! but, I for one am happy anytime Allen Iverson looks bad. Ever since that "Practice" fiasco in Philli... It was also the only consolation for my Lakers losing the finals... that Larry brown won a championship with out Iverson.....LOL...

It seems to me that the latest bandwagon people have started piling on is this anti-american b-ball one. I, for one, am completely disgusted by it.

No, this not a Dream Team-The original 2004 olympic team consisted of Shaq, Kobe, Garnett, McGrady, all of whom pulled out because of 'secuirty concerns.' These guys should be embarassed for themselves.

The patch work team we have over in Athens is getting my support and I don't care if they lose by 50.

I dont think so. I think we should be very proud at how our game has now progressed worldwide. I mean that was the true goal anyways, to try and spread the game out across the globe and we did it. These international teams could not keep up with this current USA lineup 10yrs ago, but they've grown and worked hard, so the competition is harder. I still think we should have won, but you have to take into account what kind of team we have. It isn't Iverson's fault that the team can't shoot nor play defense. He didn't put the team together. Larry Brown did however, so I think he needs to get some of the blame for this. There are some guys in the NBA that shoot pretty damn well, but he decided to go with this young, undersized, and downright awful shooting team. There's no way you can expect to win just based on talent. You gotta have team chemistry, and guys comitted to playing defense. We dont have any of that, and Larry is the guy to look at because of that.

Screw these spoiled brat, gangsta wannabe punks....There was only one dream team. Larry, Magic, MJ and the rest...After that , the U.S. should have gone back to college players...Although these days, not too many good players even make it to college, straight from high school to the pro's....oh well.

i watched the game .. hope i don't get flamed for this but i thought it was pretty funny watching them get smashed but i heard that the other team had a few nba players in there anyway is this correct ?

I dont know if they had any NBA players on their roster, but as a team they're damn good. They've also been practicing for the Olympics twice a day for three months. These NBA guys have been playing non stop since Septemeber, and they only had about two weeks to prepare for the Olympics. I think to expect them to come out and dominate against today's International teams is just a little much.

Puerto Rico has 1 or 2 guys currently in the NBA. Arroy from the Jazz and Jose Ortiz-Not sure if he is still in the league...Still a baffling loss. Glad to see the boys bounce back vs Greece.

I liked the Olympics as a whole much better when they used amateurs instead of hired guns. Sure, it was fun to watch Jordan and Magic drill Serbia by 73 points, but I miss watching college kids bust their ass against international competition.

Bottom line, the Olympics is met with a collective yawn in my house.

On to the semi's. They beat previously undefeated Spain today 102-94. Marbury FINALLY showed up. 31 points-hit 6 threes. It looks like if Larry Brown is going down he's not doing it w/ his youngsters. Lebron-zero points-Carmelo-3 points-Wade-6 points....Two more games-Could still medal...
