****nal in best position ?
I only wanted to start a thread about ****nal because everytime you mention ****nal then the no-naughty-words "intelligent" filter ****s out the "****" part in ****nal !!!
Although with ****nal hammering Aston Villa 5-0, it means that ****nal are in the strongest position at the moment. Blackburn Rovers are level on points with ****nal, but ****nal have a game in hand !
Tottenham Hotspur are 2 points ahead of both ****nal and Blakcburn Rovers, but ****nal also have a game in hand over them also !
So yeah, ****nal are definitely in the strongest position !
**** !!!

And who asked for your opinion ???
Just kidding with ya, although I hope to God that you are wrong. Considering how **** Newcastle have been over the whole season, it would be a ****ing crime if you pipped us for that 6th spot !!!
And make your team even more distasteful to me and the flavour's not nice at the moment after the Shearer and Souness sagas !

Could happen DB, but if Arsenal win, then Spurs get NADDER !!!! which will make being champions of Europe even sweeter as they will be back next season to defend the title and take that 4th spot place for the champs league. I'm almost hoping they do get 4th, just so as have it taken away. An Arsenal fan's dream..... HA HA HA HA (in my best evil laugh kind of way !!)

lol mondy. as far as Shearer saga goes... you cant begrudge a man wanting to go play for his home team and be a hero to his people when the chance arises. and as far as Souness goes. look at you guys now.
losing Souness was a blessing for Blackburn. you guys are owning this season. so quit crying ya git
as far as toon not deserving 6th... i dunno man. Sure we started badly. But Roeder has done such a stunning job since he took over as caretaker manager. The team as a whole has worked so so hard to get where we are now. a handful of 3-1's is not acheived by a constant stream of flukes and good luck. Its hard work and having good fun.
Newcastle United is a team in transition. i sense good times ahead. I wish Blackburn all the best. i honestly. do. But sorry. the Toon obviously gets my backing to take 6th. You guys can go through intertoto and qualify that way.

Heh heh heh. I actually don't begrudge the guy anything. Sure, I was ****ed off when he buggered off to Newcastle, as it seemed he wasn't going to, but he's always done what he wanted to throughout his career. He was in a team that gave us the Premiership crown and put a huge smile on Uncle Jack's face, so I have no complaints there.
I used to hate the way he was adored at Blackburn though. i.e. if he made a bad pass, it was, "Unlucky Shearer!" Anyone else would get yelled at. I never understood that. If he plays ****, he should get yelled at like everyone else does! That was my take on it, anyway! But he could do no wrong! That's more a gripe at the fans at the time than anything else.
Anyway, back on target.
I don't think it's a case of you earning the 6th spot, more than us throwing it away. A short while back, we were top of the lague form going from January, but ever since the Tottenham game we have let ourselves down.
I hope that we do ourselves justice in the final three games, but I really don't think all the current speculation with our players is helping that much.
Like I say, it would be a shame to lose out on Europe, especially to Newcastle, what with all the connections there (Shearer, Sounness, Cole, Bellamy, etc).

Shearer left you guys 10 years ago. Dont you think its time you got over it ? ... as for Bellamy... i dont see what the problem is. YOU got him. cause we didn't like his attitude. Hes been playing great for you guys though.
and man... Andy Cole ? ... he hasnt been at Newcastle United for what ,,, 10, 11, 12 years ? ... lol. Time to get over that too Mondy
In my opinion Newcastle turn around is worthy of something. Especially since it is Sheaers final season, even though hes already gone into early retirement after picking up a nasty injury in derby game with sunderland. Where we managed a 4-1 thrashing of the maccam bastards.
If you guys can't keep your bottle and hold on to your position then perhaps you dont deserve it ?. Ive enjoyed seeing Blackburn doing so well. But come on man. Sheaer and Cole. get over it its been over 10 years. As for Souness. we did you a favour. same goes for Bellamy. you got our scraps and made em shine.

You didn't get the jist of my post. I just meant that there is history between the clubs when you look back. That's all...
But, what a difference a game makes eh ? At one point Newcastle looked scarily close, then you draw and we win and it doesn't look all that bad anymore.
Still not safe, but will be interesting over our next two games, and it's all in our hands, starting with Chelski tonight !
