NBA Off Season 2005
As the free agent market begins, I'm looking forward to Micheal Redd's decision between Milwaukee or Cleveland. Money or a legitamate shot at the playoffs for years to come? Not to say Bogut won't help the Bucks greatly, but I don't thimk he is gonna be able to reckon with Shaq in the east. So does Redd take he money in Milwaukee or the chance to play with Lebron?
Phil back in LA...Can he make it work with just Kobe? I don't think so. Bryant is no MJ and Lamar Odom is certainly no Scottie Pippen....Just a chance for Phil to be back in the limelight to soothe his ego. If he wanted a real challenge why didn't he go to Cleveland or New York?
Nate McMillian leaves the Sonics for Portland. As a lifelong Sonic fan it has been as weird a week as any in recent memory. First they sign Ray Allen-Great move but then they allow a man who played his entire career with Seattle and whose jersey hangs in the rafters at Key Arena to bolt for, of all places Portland. Pretty stupid move by Seattle management, Wally Walker, team president, in particular.
