Na man, the new NHL schedule is great! The rivalries are getting bigger than ever. Nobody cares if the Rangers are playing Phoenix or San Jose... but shit when the Isles are in town the hockey is awesome!! I wish they had of done this long ago.

The Leafs don't even play the Red Wings or the Blackhawks this year.

Ridiculous.

Well, yeah you have a point there. The original 6 should definitely be playing each other.

Hey Leafs Fans.....

At least you guys have have something to look forward to; my Blue Jackets still suck. The only thing Columbus has to look forward to is the draft.

I guess that's one way of looking at it !

I see them as a VERY talented young team with some new veterans that still need to click and all get on the same page ! I've been to 10 games this year and while they are definately under-achieving, I wouldn't say they suck, just waiting to gel ! Granted I'm an optimist, but I still think they can make this a respectable season. They've had some off nights, but for the most part have played hard. They just haven't gotten any breaks.....and all the injuries haven't helped !

Hang in there bro, the future is still bright in OH......IO !

Hey I'm glad I found this thread ...
Luv Hockey , have for yrs !!!

HOCKEYTOWN USA Detroit Red Wings ....
I recall watchin Gordie Howe , Alex Delvecchio ,
Frank Mahovlich ect play in late 60's early 70's
{am I really gettin that old}

With the Olympics goin on
{which has been excitin but anutter thread}
n hockey on a season break I notice by the slightest
of margin ....

The WINGs are the BEST in the league right now
but playing in the West Conf Central Div. one should
be the best .... Nobody outside of Nashville is competive .
Chicago , St Louie , Columbus ....
Blue Jackets have come on w/ additions
of Federov n Nash but no "D"

Bettman has destroyed this game but I do like the more
opened O-fensive play ....
When all the Original 6 not play ea other ...
or the Wings play the Hawks 3 gms in a row earlier this
season {tho we won all 3} LOL

Dont think Detwat will hoist the CUP , goalie sitation
unstable but the "D" n powerplay can take them far
into the playoffs

The CANEs n SENATORs look good .... oh dont forget
the Rangers either
{but Hasek went down @ the Olympics}

I like Philly but like Big "D" goalies wont take them
to Lord Stanley's HOLY GRAIL ....

Go WINGs GO
Let Um See Red !!!

Man! Glad to see there are hockey fans here. It disheartens me to see hockey dying in popularity in the mainstream at the least. With everything from poker to women's amateur sports getting higher ratings.

Go Hurricanes Go!

Yeah, what a shame. If the Canes win, it won't mean as much cause we'll never know if they could've beaten the Oilers with Roloson. It was a pretty good matchup, but without a #1 goalie, the Oilers are done

Conflicted as to who to cheer for. As a Calgarian, I'm obligated to hate Edmonton but I still like to cheer for the Canadian team - but we would get it rubbed in our face for decades to come that 1. Oilers - 6 Cups, Flames -1 ... and 2. Flames failures in 2004, Oilers Stanley Cup Champions 2006 -> also perpetuating the disheartening fact that every time in history that the Flames have gone to the Stanley Cup final (3) - Edmonton has won it next year.
