Far as I’m concerned, Eddie’s the complete package. Technique aside, his rhythm playing, feel, songwriting, tone, riffs, leads, man, it’s all there. It’s like the best-tasting beer you ever drank in your life! ~Zakk Wylde

The Stars will win the cup my friend. Going to be a VERY interesting year in hockey since every team will have so many new players. It's like a freaking fantasy league..........speaking of which, we should get one started sucka.

Not me. I've been sayin over at the Links that the Coyotes and Kings are my two sleepers this year. I also think the Pens will be highly competitive, as will the Oilers.

I'm so freakin excited to have hockey back! A few predictions... my Leafs will suck with the team the have this year (they'll make the playoffs but won't go far).... Flyers will dominate, but will they get by Ottawa in the playoffs The Oilers will be the surprise of the season! Look for them in the finals... you heard it here first

Oh, definitely sign me up for the fantasy league! I've never participated in one but it sounds pretty cool. The big move the Leafs need to make is canning John Fergusan's ass!
Just read this... http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=133050
I don't know about this one. I hope he's healthy.

Keep his head away from blunt objects such as, Scott Stevens' shoulder, Hal Gills' shoulder, Darius Kasparitis' shoulder, Jason Doig's shoulder, and he'll be just fine. LOL

Yep Ferguson is an idiot. At the start of free agency, he was like a deer in the headlights.
Feels like the Ballard days all over again.

I'm psyched about the upcoming season as well. It's going to be a different NHL in a lot of ways, but it will be interesting to see how all the changes play out. The rule changes will definitely help some players and hurt others, but I'm glad to see that skill will be rewarded rather than the ability to impede other players.
Things are looking good up here, with Naslund and Bertuzzi both returning. On the down side, Dan Cloutier will also be back! I think the Canucks will end up in their usual "good but not quite there" situation at the end of the season.
