You are welcome mate wish we could have ****ing won though. Blackburn have the strongest place for sure now. but a point is better than a loss.

Aye thanks - it was nervous in the last few minutes! For both games!!! But the Toon did us proud.
I can't overlook Pompeys achievement though. For a side that were effectively dismantled by Alain Perrin they floundered all season. Even when Redknapp returned and bought some quality signings the team did not have any shape or motivation. But once they realised they were up against it and Harry get them all focused Portsmouths final 9 game sequence has been top 3 form. 7 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss.
We are a small club and we probably spent far less money on players than most of the clubs in the league this season but the result shows the real heart that Pompey has. I actually think this is a far greater achievement than Chelseas. Chelsea were expected to win and portsmouth were expected to be relegated (even mondo predicted it). But the last 9 games have been fantastic. We had only won 2 all season before that.
And that has been the difference between Pompey and Brum/WBA. Pompey have earned the right to stay up in my opinion - they have played attacking football and got the result. The fact that Brum are relegated is because they didn't take their chances.
I am really proud to be a Pompey supporter today. I have just spoken to a few mates on the phone and 3 of them were blubbing their eyes out as they were driving back from wigan. The relief and pride is unbelieveable. More so than when we first got promoted. I just hope that next season we get it right, and do it from the off - I don't think I can take another season like this
