After the most improbable comeback in MLB history against the New York Yankees, the Sox dispatched the mighty St Louis Cardinals in four straight. [img]images/smilies/icon_dance.gif[/img] After 86 years of suffering [img]images/smilies/wutblau.gif[/img] Red Sox fans can finally say "World Champion Boston Red Sox!!" [img]images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif[/img] Winning a World Series after 4 times losing game 7's and last years debacle vs. the Yankees is ever so satisfying. Admittedly, the World Series was a bit anticlimactic after coming back from down 3 games to none to defeat the defending American League champs, but a championship is a championship none the less. As far as I'm concerned, this title exonerates the sins of all past Red Sox teams who came ever so close but couldn't get it done. So sleep easy Bill Buckner, Bob Stanley, Mike Torrez, and all former Red Sox, all is forgiven. [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]

Anyone see any of the victory parade. It was pretty cool, they actually took the duck boats up the Charles river.

It was pretty good, but I still like how the Pats did it ending with them speaking on the stage at City Hall. The Sox are suppose to come up to NH next week. I might go catch them.
