Shaq out of Laker land

Way to go Kobe. First you get the Zen master fired, now the most dominant force known to the NBA is tarded cross country and you are left with a trio of question marks in return.

As a Seattle Sonics fan I am glad to see the big Aristotle out of the conference and will not be surprised to see Shaq hoisting an Eastern Conference title next spring....

Re: Shaq out of Laker land

Shaq will not win a championship his first year, and I'll put money on it. He will help that team and make them an instant contender for sure. I still think the Heat gave up alot to get him. I mean I know it's Shaq and all, but they've given up their future for this guy. They better win a ring within the three years because the big man doesn't have many years left in him IMO. He and Dwayne Wade are gonna be tough to handle I'll give them that. Kobe is a shit stick. Now he's talkin bout playin for the Clippers if they play 10-12 of their games in Anaheim which is closer to his house. What a joke this guy is

Re: Shaq out of Laker land

the lakers equaled to many egos, with shaq and kobe alone it was to the point of never bein able to be the same again, everyone said oh what happens off the court wont hurt them they are professionals they can keep level heads while on the court together, thats bullshit, when you start not likin someone it 9 out of 10 times goes downhill from there.. the lakers are just another example of how egos ruin a good thing.. but of course now this is just my opinon

Re: Shaq out of Laker land

I have to disagree guys. Lamar Odom is the big name the Heat gave up. A good player, but a head case is his own right. And Brian Grant's knees are shot. He's not the rebounding force he once was. I forget the guard that the Lakers also got but I think the Heaty were an up and coming team last year-Pushed the Pacers to 6 games and Dwayne Wade was a late first round steal for Miami. Shaq will be motivated and in as good of shape as he can get. Roll Heat

Re: Shaq out of Laker land

Yea Lamar Odom was the big name, but Quaron Butler is a baller too. That kid can flat out play, and if Dwayne Wade has a bad second year which can be expected, then the Heat will be in trouble. Without Shaq the Heat were a contender to go all the way next season with their young squad. Now I'm not so sure about that. Even with Shaq, they just dont have the depth they did before the trade. Shaq is still going to dominate the Eastern Conference because there's nobody over here that can hang with him. It's gonna be painful watching my Sixers play the Heat four times a year

I'm just glad that he didn' t end up with the Mavericks. I know they don't play any defense but the thought of Shaq-Daddy sparing up Dallas just makes me shudder in fear. Miami will get in the playoffs but will not win with the Diesel.

Re: Shaq out of Laker land

Well I think in the east that detroit is obviously the #1 team, but Miami will definately challenge them and if Rash-weed leaves then I would think Miami is the team to beat

Sheed apparently agreed to stay in Detroit at some point last night or early this morning. Detroit is gonna be a force again next year I think.

Re: Shaq out of Laker land

Surprise! Kobe stays in Laker land....Now the Lakers need a big man-I heard Vlade Divac Also Derrick Fisher is not gonna stay-He had a visit with the Sonics. Would be a good fit with Ray Allen and would be a good tutor for Ridnour.
