Sucka I need your consolation
Just lost Nick Saban to Miami....I am a big LSU fan and was a student there...
Now, Miami just got a great deal, and to be fair, i think so did Nick. I am heartbroken for sure....only Sucka's wisdom can heal me now. Won't cha help me...?? Speak oh wise one.

Nick will be smart if he gets someone to help him in the front office. Coaches that wear the hat of the GM historically haven't done well. There is just too much responsibility with the head coaching job. Be interesting to see him against the Pats as Nick was Bill's Def Coordinator at Cleveland.

I agree there. The GM role is a calling all it's own. I think it's too much of a juggle.

Ya know, I like Nick for the job, but I was really pulling for Art Shell to get that job in Miami. I think with Art, that would have given them that tough, hard nosed guy that they desperatley need. As for you getting over this, it could be worse 3...you could be a Norte Dame fan.

Far as I’m concerned, Eddie’s the complete package. Technique aside, his rhythm playing, feel, songwriting, tone, riffs, leads, man, it’s all there. It’s like the best-tasting beer you ever drank in your life! ~Zakk Wylde

And other then Andy Reid, is there another coach that is also the team's GM and actually has success? That's a tough job to handle, but luckily for Nick, the Phins don't really need much to be a good team again. They have a good defense, and they've had a ton of injuries to their WR's. If they can get a top notch RB, and MAYBE another QB, they'll be fine.

It helps. Thanks Sucka! I wish Nick well...(and a first year losing record...nah, just joking). Man, you could be an AP sports writer with your knowledge!
