Thanks for the memories Tyson
I was glad to see Lewis kick his ass 2 years ago. Thought he had it coming and wished he would have retired. Then when he KO'd Etienne I thought he juuust might have a few left but he took way too much time off and he ring rust and 38 year old chin showed last night.
Kind of sad for me. Tyson was THE fighter of my generation. Tremendous power-determination and hand speed. The total package. His destruction of Mike Spinks was epic. All those 1st round KO's..If Cus D'mato(sp?) his old trainer would have lived a few more years perhaps he could have kept Tyson on the right path. Now he's broke, obviously through as a fighter and void of any true, trusted friends to surround him and tell him what he needs to hear. Not what he wants to hear.
