USC-Oklahoma

The game of the year! 12 all americans on the field-2 heisman trophy winners-2 coaches of the year-outland trophy winner(Thanks lee corso-espn college gameday). This SHOULD be a helluva game. Alot of times the hype is overblown but i think this one will live up to it. I think USC has just a little more talent and will win 33-24.

I want to care, I really do, but I just don't. Get a playoff system and call me back.

USC 34 - OU 14

I'm looking forward to watching it. I think Auburn made a good case for a share of it though.

Could not agree more about a playoff. But i think at least these are the two best teams of the year. I thought Auburn had it's hands full with VT last night.

Don't care for the BCS system, but I felt OU and SC had every reason to be in the Nat'l chapionship game.

honestly that game was massacre.
they should have found a better way to do this years ago. there is talk of making a playoff system next year. i hope they do. its just not right for teams like that to not get there shot.

The BCS is a travesty...Look at all the teams that have been either allowed to play when they didn't deserve:

Nebraska (Lost Big XXII Championship Game)
OU (See above)

Oregon was kept out a few years ago
Auburn this year..

It sucks and should be dismantled immediately!

Not a big USC fan, but they might be the best college football team I've ever seen.

Personally, I thought USC was going to get throttled by OU. USC had their share of narrow victories (down for 3 quarters to the Beavers), whereas OU seemed solid (shut out of Texas). But, yeah, that was a mismatch and a slaughter! But I'll be the first to admit I don't follow things in much detail.

Also, I'll have fess up that in some ways I like the pre-BCS system. I thought there was something sort of nice about the traditional bowl system - even if a clear national champion wasn't established. But hey, I bought a cassette 4-track the other day and am clearly out of synch with the times!
