Re: Villeneuve to Williams \'05?

Frank said he had a meeting a few weeks ago with Jacques. I say he's high on Frank and Patrick's list.

Ralf needs to retire!!!

I hope Villeneuve does well. We need a hero that's not named Schumaker for once!

Re: Villeneuve to Williams \'05?

I'm all for it. Be nice to see Williams and another driver be the dominant force once again. Or at least supplying some form of competition.

Just seems a strange move after getting rid of him and Villineuve being released by BAR.

BUT...

If it means we see the kind of battles where Villineuve will take Shumacher out of the race, then I'm all for it !!!

This is going to date me a bit, but I long for the Days of Nikki Lauda, Alain Prost, Nelson Piquet, and Jacques Villeneuve!
I grew up watching these guys have at it every sunday.

Yep, gotta agree with you CC ! I grew up on that as well.

And the Japanese driver from Lotus who would always crash his car if they put the camera on it ! What was his name ?

Re: Villeneuve to Williams \'05?

Yes, Mansell as well, but of course there's only one Senna, and Jackie Stewart.

Speaking of Jackie, I live near Indy, I lost my son under the tunnel when qualifying was over, we freaked.
As we scrambled through Ferrari fans Jackie and an assistant came by, my jaw dropped (remember his AFX commercial 1974-ish?), I stopped and told my buddy maybe we should stop him for an autograph b-4 the pagoda entance,
Well my son's safety cleared my vision!!!!

WOW a Y&T Fan................Breaking Away is one of my fave Meniketti tunes.........Black Tiger as well

Peace, You guys ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
