I ususally go to the away games cuz they're easy to get there...
But rest assured, I probably won't be thinking of you the next time I go there as I usually get fairly twatted in the pub beforehand because it's such a novelty factor being back at home amongst my fellow northerners...

As a matter of fact, I was personally involved in the design of those towers, cos that's what I do for a crust! - Just to p**s you off a bit more, another company I worked for in 2000 built the steel arch over the stadium as well! - That's it, I'll be forever in your mind from now - and that'll be the sweetest revenge possible for when you trounce 'our lads'.

I was thinking about this dude. Don't you mean the two towers ?
The stadium has the lights on the arches on the 3 main stands (Blackburn end, Jack Walker Stand, and Darwen end) and then has the two towers on either side of the Riverside (which hasn't been redeveloped cuz of cost, planning permission because of the river, etc.).
So there's only the two towers aren't there, if memory serves me correct ?

You're probably right mate, most stadiums have 4 towers, 1 in each corner, so I just assumed .... I wasn't involved in the actual order & project management for them, just in the structural design.
The arch was built before I joined that other company as well, so it's not THAT likely to come down (hint .... stand under the arch, not the lighting towers ... hehe!).
