It's time to let go of the Yankees, i mean, i am unimpressed. sure they have one a billion times. ...they have also spent a billion times more on their team all these years.
The Sox however, did it with no support, just an ingenius manager, and a team willing to work together.
They got rid of the egos of the team and happened to win.

Now Carmine I like you -but this is the thing to chat about.

This thread is the hottest thing. The yankees. please. anyone can have all their championships with the billions spent on the team. means nothing. the white sox did it with a fighting spirit.

I was surprised to see KC beat the White Sox twice a couple weekends ago. And KC has one of the smallest payrolls in the American League.

I was at Kauffman Stadium on April 7th. The white sox fans were getting all crazy loud when they got 5 runs in the first inning. By the 7th they where all quietly leaving.

Looks like CWS are getting revenge on KC tonight.
