What a cool idea! I've always liked the "Stages" concept. It would be cool if more artists put out a box set featuring a concert from each year they've toured. The Jimi Hendrix 1991 "Stages" box set was an interesting idea but poorly executed. They should have included Paris 67, Ottawa 68, Oakland 69 and New York Pop 70 instead (for all the Hendrix fans out there).

3. The End (Toronto Popfestival, Toronto, Canada, September 13th, 1969)

I've heard a different version of "The End" from Toronto Pop Festivsal, and Jim Morrison talks from the stage about be humbled in the presence of illustrious geniuses" and "rock and roll opened whole new catacombs of wisdom."

I didn't hear that on this track on the Ultra Rarities.

The one I heard was a rare German bootleg (two lps) Sweden sound board, and Toronto under the Title "Only The Beautiful Die Young".

It was a double album. Not the single album, as has been distributed throughout.

I know. I owned it. Now I'm looking for "The End".

Update: Actually I found the track "the end" in toronto is on disc 4 track 1!! YOU ARE AWESOME! EXCELLENT !
