'89-03-08 - Paul Stanley - Wilkes Barre, PA

In 1989, Stanley Harvey Eisen (better known as Paul Stanley) went out on tour without Chaim Witz (better known as Gene Simmons). He took along for the ride Eric Doyle Mensinger (better known as Eric Singer) and Bob Kulick (better known as the brother of the guitarist who came after Ace Frehley, Vinnie Vincent, and Mark St. James in KISS). During this tour, Stanley played nothing but KISS songs except for one Led Zeppelin song ("Communication Breakdown"). He also wrote and recorded some music for a solo album, but did not perform it live and those recordings were never officially released. Here we have the 1989 set from Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

1. I Stole Your Love
2. I Want You
3. Tears Are Falling
4. Tonight You Belong To Me
5. C'mon And Love Me
6. Wouldn't You Like To Know Me
7. Heaven's On Fire
8. Hide Your Heart
9. I Still Love You
10. Crazy Crazy Nights
11. Reason To Live
12. Lick It Up
13. Let's Put The X In Sex
14. Love Gun
15. Goodbye
16. Communication Breakdown
17. Detroit Rock City

For all you guys that like Paul Stanley:

This Wilkes-Barre show is great, but please download the RITZ 89 show, the sound quality is SO MUCH better (soundboard) and it makes a HUGE difference!

And here on this page you can find 2 shows from the 2006 tour:

Enjoy!

Talking

I was looking for this for a long time. Twenty years has gone by fast. I was in the front row! I came home with Paul's set list that was taped under his mic, a t-shirt, a cup that Paul drank from with some of the drink still in the cup, had it in the freezer for a long time, and a few guitar pics. Paul had to throw the guitar pics that were taped on his microphone stand in the back because so many people were grabbing for them, almost knocking it over. (Before Lick It Up.) It was a fantastic show. Thanks for sharing!

Waiting for the video if one exists.
