This is like musical archaeology for the confirmed ABB fan. The sound quality isn't all that great, though it does improve as you get further into the gig...I have to assume that the outer layers of the master tape deteriorated more than the inner layers...AUD source with 1970 technology. Sonically speaking, it ain't pretty, and it is littered with cuts and dropouts galore, but what comes thru forcefully is an outstanding performance by the original ABB lineup before Duane was taken from us all too soon.

Put on your headphones and be transported to another time & place, listen to the amazing drum solo/jam during a 35 minute rendering of Mountain Jam, or Greg's vocals during Whipping Post...he sounds impossibly young but his keyboard skills were right there every step. WOW.

Huge thank to the uploader, thank you for sharing!

You're welcome filmshooter.

And Snorrison, these recordings always remind me of summertime.

Badfingers' buyable stuff is all very good and there are a few bootlegs here that capture the band live in their classic years.

Joey Molland (the last living original member) is still out there playing his music.
Although it's hard to find advance information about him.

HighPingDrifter's review is accurate. But any recording of the Allman Brothers with Duane and Barry are priceless and worth the listen.
