Show notes:
Another sold out Amorphis gig at Tavastia (fits approx 800). Due to it being in the middle of the week, it appears that a bit more mature (and not as drunk) audience was present than usual. Also surprising was to see that no pits even tried to form up, and I had a real good view from the balcony where I taped this. Overall it was a good gig with couple of surprises in The White Swan being played live for the first time and The Orphan played after a long break (possibly even first time with Joutsen on vocals?). Some people report that Better Unborn hasn't been played in a long time either, I'm not too sure of that myself. Regardless of that, the rest of the set was pretty basic. The hit songs got kicks out of the audience as always.
Recording and mastering notes:
Taped from the left side of the balcony against the reiling. Carefully targeted hard limiting used to dampen audience screams and whistles, normalizing used to boost up the volume. Other than this nothing was done to the recording.
