I loved Spinal Tap as a send up of stadium rock, but as a piss take of grimy British pub rock, Bad News was fan bloody tastic !

I rather think that was the whole point lol!

Lucky sod....being from the MidWestern US, and a working stiff, I have always wished I could attend Donington, but now more than ever with the economy as it is, it looks like I will never have the chance.

I too was at Donington that year, and many others in the 80's.

If anyone could re-up the audio bootleg, it would be much appreciated! ta!

Saw them on tour at Exeter University too. The fake backdrop of what seemed like hundreds of Marshall cabs was a sight to behold. Nigel Planer came on as the "Christmas Chicken" a great moment.
