Yet another CD from my collection of Beatles Studio-Sessions. The recording on this day,a Tuesday,took place from 2:30pm to 5:30pm and then from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. The three songs worked on that day were "From Me To You","One After 909" and "Thank You Girl".
This is the only session where the Beatles worked on "One After 909" in 1963. The song was finally revived in 1969,though.
A pivotal session,the songs "From Me To You" and "Thank You Girl" were released on April.11,1963 as their third smash Number One single.
Also included as a Bonus Track at the end is the 3-13-63 Take 14 of "Thank You Girl".
The important thing to note about this CD is that EVERY TAKE of the songs from that day is here. NOTHING is missing. There were 13 takes of "From Me To You" done that day. There are 13 takes here of that song. There were only 5 takes of "One After 909" done and that's how many there are here. There were 13 takes of "Thank You Girl" recorded and that's how many are present here,too.
The Tracks are at 320 kbps and are from uncut EMI Session Tapes.
