Notes: The fall leg of 1984 featured a more intense Bruce than the summer 1984 shows. The darker songs, such as "Johnny Bye Bye" and "State Trooper," were played more and more. In October, Bruce began switching the closing song of the set; for more than ten years, fans knew "Rosalita" would finish the set, but Bruce began alternating other songs in that slot, such as "Born to Run" and "Racing in the Street." This show features a gorgeous "Racing in the Street," as well as an extended "Nebraska set." Available on the CD "Kansas City Night" from an excellent audience tape.

Not only is this the best audience recording of the tour, the sound is so good that it actually surpasses the only complete soundboard of the tour. If you're a fan of the Born in the USA tour, this is the boot to get. Note that this is also one of the first digitally recorded Springsteen boots.

Pancho ,Thank You for fixing the links. I think graveyard is right that this is the best recording from the Born In The USA Tour. The guy who did the original recording is from the Chicago area. He also did the Market square arena show from Indy and the soldiers field show chgo all digital. He might of done more USA tour shows, but these were the three I know of. He also recorded a kick ass Pink Floyd show from the Rosemont Horizon that got a write up in Rolling Stone magazine because the quality was so good. I only had a cassete copy of the shows .Thanks again for fixing the links .

My two cents, the best recording from the Born in the USA tour is the Paris concert, which is either a soundboard or a very, very, very good audience recording.
