Combination of a WNYU-FM off-air reel master, a 1st gen. off-air reel and an audience cassette master. The WNYU-FM broadcast was an incomplete combination of both shows. This is the complete late show as FM combined with audience tracks where necessary and with the early show excerpt as a bonus at the end of the disc. It all sounds really good together, and the transitions between sources not too noticeable. Sound quality is all very good or better, despite a some background FM transmission noise in a few
spots.
