Chicago August 12, 1979 from the Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois. Great Sound but sorry wrapped into one long continous MP3 track, still haven't figured out how to seperate yet hope the Chicago fans will enjoy anyway???

I am also always looking for the following;

Flaming Ember 1970's Detroit, Michigan area band (Westbound #9, I'm Not My Brothers Keeper, etc;)
Chicago 12/01/1977 Terry Kath's last show
Puddle Of Mudd
Bob Seger Anything from 1983's The Distance tour

and if you should come across anything and could post it i would be forever grateful...

Thank You!!!

Thank you a million times!! This era of Chicago gets a lot of grief (for good reason in some cases) but it's not all bad. Can't wait to hear this one !

This was at Chicagofest. It was a festival every summer at Navy Pier. There used to be some really good shows there. Too bad politics got in the way of a good time. What a shocker...politics screwing up a good thing in Chicago! hehe

Chicagofest

There were alot of awesome shows at Chicagofest. Are there any Muddy waters or Cheap Trick in circulation? I'd love to get some of that ... but this will suffice for now

Good show, but it seems the songs ended up out of their original order on this one somehow. Still great to listen to, though. THANK YOU!

Thumbs up

Was There

Chicago played in Milwaukee on 8-11-79 at Summerfest and 2 shows on
8-12-79 in Chicago,Il. A 3:30 Show and 7:30 show . I attended the Milwaukee show and the 3:30 show at Chgo-fest. A band called Orleans was the opening act. The 7:30 show was the show that was broadcasted on 103.5 WFYR . If you listen close when the band is taking the stage the radio announcer at the fest says and theres Terry Kath , the dj back at the station says WHO?? knowing the guy on location has made a huge blunder! Terry had been dead for a year and a half already. Here is the set list from that show.
1. ALIVE AGAIN
2. TURN BACK THE PAGES
3.BEGINNINGS
4.LITTLE MISS LOVIN
5. DOES ANYBODY REALLY KNOW WHAT TIME It IS?
6. JUST YOU N' ME
7. MUST OF BEEN CRAZY
8. IF YOU LEAVE ME NOW
9. STREET PLAYER
10. SEARCIN SO LONG
11. SATURDAY IN THE PARK
12. 25 OR 6 TO 4
13. GOT TO GET YOU INTO MY LIFE
14. FEELING STRONGER EVERYDAY
15. IM A MAN
P.S.Robert Lamms vocals were terrible in this show. I think he was sick or had just lost his voice.
