Complete Led Zeppelin bootleg archive. Regular Updates!

Hopefully some of you have enjoyed my Rolling Stones Mick Taylor era thread. To take a break from that I wanted to start a thread for Led Zeppelin.
I own every Zepp boot from 68-75, and most of the '77, '79, and '80 tours. To preserve sanity, I only plan on posting all the good sound quality boots. So I will not post anything that is not worth listening to quality wise unless there is an overwhelming amount of requests for a specific show. This means I will leave out some famous shows (Boston Tea Party '69 for example) because they are not great recordings.
I will move in chronological order. Let me know what you think.

Tapes from the Zeppelin Whisky A Go Go shows have been rumored to exist for years and finally almost 38 years later they arrive. This is now the second oldest Zeppelin tape in existance, but the sound is much better here than on the Spokane recording.
This is an audience tape but the SQ is very good, especially for a 1969 bootleg, from the bands final show at Whisky A Go Go. My biggest complaint is that Robert sounds distant at times, but there is no popping and minmial tape hiss.
You can tell this is young Zepp because the songs are not yet long and extravagant. Zepp also features the Yardbirds hit "For Your Love." A must own for all Zepp fans. I will also add this to my Zepp archive post but I thought it merited its own post. Enjoy!

Led Zeppelin "Whisky A Go Go", Los Angeles, 01/05/1969
Label: Empress Valley
Setlist:
1. As long as i have you
2. I can't quit you
3. The train kept a rollin'
4. Babe im gonna leave you
5. Dazed and confused
6. Killing floor
7. For your love

Fillmore West, San Francisco, 1/11/69.
This is the earliest know soundboard. It is not a complete show but the audience tapes suck so I will only post the SB. "How Many More Times" is amazing and Bonzo's bass drum sounds superb.
Setlist:
1. I Can't Quit You
2. Dazed and Confused
3. You Shook Me
4. How Many More Times
5. Communication Breakdown

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KM61VJ8F

Brondby Pop Club, Denmark, 3/15/1969 (Early Show).
Another good, but short show. The SQ is not as good as the Fillmore West show but it's worth owning. "As Long As I Have You" is the highlight.
Setlist:
1.The Train Kept A Rollin'
2.I Can't Quit You
3.As Long As I Have You (includes Fresh Garbage)
4.You Shook Me
5.Communication Breakdown

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=59Y554XH

Danish TV Sessions, Copenhagen Denmark, 3/17/1969.
This is the SB for the b&w show that is included on the bonus features on the Zeppelin DVD. If you have not seen the show go buy it. Zepp plays four songs surrounded by a circle of teenagers. The SQ is perfect. "How Many More Times" and Dazed are incredible. My favorite short show of '69 becuase there is so much energy.
Setlist:
1. Communication Breakdown
2. Dazed And Confused
3. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
4. How Many More Times

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1T1XUW5U

Fillmore West San Francisco, 4/24/1969.

The first 7 songs (through "Pat's Delight") comprise the Fillmore West show and are an audience recording. The instrumentals are excellent but Plant is in the background and sounds distant. I'm not sure where the final three songs come from. The were included as a bonus on this disc and this is the best source I have so I'm passing them on to you.
There is some funky interference on the end of "As Long As..." and the beginning of "You Can't...", I recommend just editing the start and stop times on those songs. All in all not as good as the other shows I will post from '69 but to each his own.

Setlist:
1.As Long As I Have You
2. You Can't Judge A Booke By It's Cover
3. Killing Floor
4. White Summer
5. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
6. Pat's Delight
7. Dazed And Confused
8. Sitting And Thinking
9. I Can't Quit You Baby

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0U0A0CM2

Fillmore West, San Francisco, 4/27/1969.
This is a combination of a sounboard and audience tapes for a complete show. I prefer this source because the audience source perfectly eliminates the gap in "The Lemon Song." This concert is a must own. Possibly the best versions ever of "Lemon Song" and "As Long As I have You." Those two are darn near perfect sound quality. There are some sound level fluctuations throughout the show but you still need to listen to it.

Setlist:
1. The Train Kept A Rollin'
2. I Can't Quit You
3. As Long As I Have You
4. You Shook Me
5. How Many More Times
6. Communication Breakdown
7. The Lemon Song
8. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
9. Sitting And Thinking
10. Pat's Delight
11. Dazed And Confused

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0ZBF5WT0

Texas International Pop Festival, Dallas 8/31/1969.
This is a SB recording from the famous show. There are quite a few sources of this show out there but I like this on the best. I don't think the SQ on this is as great as everyone else, especially since this has been released so many times, but the "How Many More Times" medley alone makes it worth owning. "Communication breakdown is also great.
Setlist:
1. Intro
2. The Train Kept A' Rollin'
3. I Can't Quit You
4. Dazed And Confused
5. You Shook Me
6. How Many More Times
7. Communication Breakdown

Thank you very much, my friend. This is some awesome stuff. I just got through the first Fillmore show and I absolutely loved it. Great sound quality, raw and brilliant performance. Keep these coming!

Thank you very much!

Would it be possible for you to post the boot name or production company if available for each of your posts so that we know the source?

And sanity be damned, I want them all!

Thanks! Lots of the Zep links I've found on the web are dead, so it's nice to be able to get some new stuff to hear.

Here are the sources:
1/11/69= Anbody Got A Les Paul? (Equinox)
3/15/69= LZ Is A Gas (Empress Valley)
3/17/69= Unknown (B-day gift to me)
4/24/69= The Dancing Avocado (Small Fish)
4/27/69= The Devil's Blues (Genuine Masters)
8/31/69= Texas Pop (Genuine Masters)

And I might become dazed and confused if I were to upload every show!

I will post my favorite '77 boots after I up all the great shows from the '69, '70, '71, '72, '73, and '75 tours. If you cannot wait that long, I am sure that "Listen To This Eddie" and the Cleveland and Houston shows are probably on these forums if you search for them.

I probably should have posted this first. Here is a Yardbirds show from 1968. This is an audience recording but it has the best SQ of all my Yardbirds boots. I would rate the SQ as an 8/10.
It is worth listening to as a Zepp fan to hear the band play three songs that later were played by Zepp: The Train Kept A Rollin', Dazed And Confused, and White Summer. I do not know the lineage of this show. I will continue with Zepp shortly.

Anderson Theatre, New York, 3/30/1968
Setlist
1. The Train Kept A Rollin'
2. Mr. You're A Better Man Than I
3. Dazed And Confused
4. My Baby
5. Over Under Sideways Down
6. Drinking Muddy Water
7. Shapes Of Things
8. White Summer
9. I'm A Man

Cool! I have that show along with Marquee Club 10/16/68 on a TDK MA-XG90 -- those are the heavy ones with a clear case and (at least at one time) went for about $8 each. It was definitely justified for the 3/30 show. Haven't heard the other in a while and can't say. Any chance you have that in digital form? Thanks!

Sorry, I cannot help you. The other shows I own are: Stockholm 04/04/1967,
Fillmore West 5/24/1968, and LA 5/31 and 6/1/1968.

The Stockholm show is listenable, but it does have quite a bit of popping. The Fillmore show is an awesome performance (especially Dazed) but the volume fluctuates and there is a lot of mic rusteling that is annoying. The LA shows are poor SQ and I never, ever listen to them.

I will ask some of my music friends around the globe if they can help us out.

Here are two more shows from 1969. The first is a Toronto show where the SQ is just okay. It is an audience recording. I debated on posting it and decided to let you guys decide if it's worth keeping. I like it because it allows us to hear the '69 versions of Heartbreaker and Moby Dick.

O'Keefe Center, Toronto 11/02/1969
Source: Listen To My Bluebird (Image Quality)
Setlist:
1.Good Times,Bad Times/Communication Breakdown
2.I Can't Quit You
3.Hearbreaker
4.Dazed & Confused
5.White Summer/Black Mountain Side
6.Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
7.Moby Dick

The other show is at the Winterland Ballroom. The recording is superb at some points and just above average at others. Still, with rarities like C'mon Everybody and Something Else, it is a keeper. The SQ is much better than the above Toronto show and this is the best 1969 version of Heartbreaker available. Enjoy!

The Winterland Ballroom, San Francisco, 11/06/1969

Setlist:
101. Good Times/ Communication Breakdown
102. I Can't Quit You
103. Heartbreaker
104. Dazed and Confused
105. White Summer
106. What is and What Should Never Be
107. Moby Dick

201. How Many More Times
202. C'mon Everybody
203. Something Else
