Notes:
Dream Theater's inaugural tour of Australia was bound to be the most entertaining concert this country was going to be fortunate enough to experience. It's taken them just over 20 years to pay us a visit but we finally got what we always wanted. Great musicianship and some killer tunes! Initial 58 seconds of first CD is noticeably out of phase thanks to people in front who had no brains to find their seats quicker than they did. Some phasing of the top end continues like this through the gig which really pissed me off. Nevertheless, this is still a worthy addition to my bootleg collection and I'm pleased to share it with everyone else who enjoyed it (or even those who missed out). All feedback appreciated. Enjoy!

...and please, don't sell this bootleg, otherwise you're just plain old scum. Like James LaBrie once said, I'm going to set you on fire. I have a flamethrower.

Dude! I was at the show the night before at Festival Hall, Melbourne, in the balcony. I was so pyched when I was the photo section of the Chaos In Motion DVD, but the balcony was out of shot. Shame. It was an awesome night. They more than made up for the 20 year absence.
Sadly, we didn't get Metropolis, or Pull Me Under, but I'm sure they're sick of playing them. We got the Medley that was incuded on the Choas In Motion DVD, and the first act of Scenes From A Memory.
Greatest night of my life. I wish I could return your kindness with a post of the Melbourne show... sadly, it wasn't to be - and I'm still mourning the technical isuses I had. :-(
