DREAM THEATER...MOON BUBBLES (Myung and Petrucci go MAD!)
OK, I've put this one up from the 6cd MEGATASTIC Japanese Dream Theater bootleg. I chose this one because it's prolly a one-off...only Myung and Petrucci playing what I think was in the 'When Dream and Day Unite' era. This is a LONG solo instrument thing and both of these guys BURN! It was recorded at IMP Hall, Osaka, Japan on Nov 19th, 1992.
I might do a poll and see what you guys wanna hear. Sound is pretty awesome for a boot as it's straight thru the soundboard.

What is that he does at around 8:03-8:06? It sounds really cool. I've heard him play it in some of his other solos but I can never figure out what it is!

It sounds like fast picked arpeggio but not a sweep. More like picking the three notes that make say a E5 chord...E, B and E again...only each noted picked 4 times...if thats the bit you mean?
More stuff soon. Think I'll post Metropolis next.

Ah, I see! Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was an arpeggio or what. Thanks for the help!

The word "Enough" it has no meaning when its all about Dream Theater for me. Thanks for the track Chris. I have TONS of very valuable DT bootleg material if you want or if people get interested in listen to it. Have you ever heard the Metropolis pt.2 SFAM 1995 demo version? The original Falling into infinity tracks? The Majesty demos / Vids?

Whoa!! That's awesome!!! I've been loking for some Petrucci G3 stuff forever!
well, I don't know, what's the best you got? The jams would probably be really cool. I'd also like to hear some of his set, I guess he had Portnoy with him?

Now that does sound cool verga! I'd love to hear some G3 stuff with Petrucci. I'll put some more up soon. Busy mixing a comeback single from my old band...WE'RE BACK! (sort of!)
