Thanks for the Edguy shows. In my opinion this was a killer band until about 2001 - 2003. I actually had their first (semi-demo, since reissued in glossed-up form) album (Savage Poetry) out right when it came out, and loved it. The second Kingdom of Madness I thought was a disappointment as it was a very poor copy of Helloween Keepers. After the innovative and creative first album, this was a shock! But then they recovered and had three super albums in a row (Vain Glory Opera, Theater of Salvation, Mandrake), and I think Mandrake in 2001 is one of the best albums by anyone. Then they had a killer double-live come out in 2003. Sadly and inexplicably for me, they changed course into silly joke metal, and I find their post-Mandrake albums completely unlistenable. But I still love the classic material from this band, and most of these shows you posted are from this time! Super!!
It's very sad that they wont go back on the Good old days. They just keep doing that boring joke metal .
