Lightfoot is one of those classic Canadian artists . His music may not appeal to all , but no one can dispute his talent or songwriting abilities . I remember going to a friends place back in the early 70's and being blown away by Gord's album " Don Quixote " . Thanks so much to Asso for the repost .

Sincere thanks to Asso (and the original poster) for this...I am a huge fan and Gordon Lightfoot live is virtually impossible to find.

I still think the Canadian Railroad Trilogy should be Canada's national anthem. I still get goosebumps when I hear it.

Anyone who bad mouths someone like this, or Coldplay (as I've seen here somewhere) could maybe learn something from these different artists, instead of throwing shit. Just opinion.
