after a very long hiatus, the bad boys of America are back- not Aerosmith, the next generation of (sortakinda). GNR just released their new album "Chinese Democracy"
(and already getting complaints about the title from the Chinese government.) If you want to get to the bottom of where they went bad (or good, depending on your perspective), you
gotta go back a ways, and it was the "appetite for destruction" album that defined where
this band was and where it went from there. The album came out in 87 and the tour continued into 88, giving us the likes of "welcome to the jungle" and "paradise city" and
"sweet child o' mine", all of which are included in this rockin' set from the Big Apple.
this is not my usual listening, but there's not much GNR up, it's been since 1991 since they released any new music, so here's a blast from the past of one of America's most popular bands, for about 3 years and apparently getting ready for their 1st tour in a long haul. I couldn't find any indication that any of this is officially released (in wikipedia guide) So
may as well share this one.
