"When Minstrels Came To Play" Revised version

The original recording was taken from a bootleg CD from 1992 called "When minstrels came to play". This is thebest and only complete recording I know from the "little light music tour", which was special for Jethro Tull since it was the first time since 1969 that the band was touring without a keyboard player. It didn't last long though and by mid 1992, Andrew Giddings was back on keys and the band abandonned most of the acoustic songs that made the previous concerts so special and charming.
This May 5th 1992 concert was taped from the audience, probably with a DAT recorder because the sound quality is excellent, with no hiss.
But the recording was plagued with audience shouting and clapping, often louder than the music. Another downside was the fact that the songs were not all recorded at the same level : the level at the start of the show was significantly lower than at the end.
All these flaws were corrected using an audio software : audience shoutings, yellings and clapping were carefully (and painfully) edited, without affecting the music of course !! Audience is still present, but in the background and you still have the live feel.
Finally, the begining of the show was re-equalized at the same level as the rest of the concert.
I think the result is very impressive. Almost sounds like it could be an official live CD !
It comes with a new cover art also, to distinguish this one from the old version.
