So......the Experience is no more, Noel quit - got fired, who know's. In preperation for the upcoming woodstock event, Jimi rents a house in Shokan, upstate NY. Jimi brings along with him a bunch of people that he calls "Gypsy, Suns & Rainbows.... nothin' but a Band Of Gypsy's" (we'll get to that show in upcoming days). Anyways, Mitch drums, Billy Cox on base Juma Sultan with percussion Jerry Valez on congas and Larry Lee on guitar. Pretty loose band and not the best showing for Jimi... but here are the rehearsals:

by the way do you have Gypsy Sun & Rainbows: Shokan ( 3 cd's)? it collects material recorded at Jimi's house on Traver Hollow Road in the summer of 1969.During the period from July-September...if you don't pm me and i'll try to post it on the next month.
