It's difficult to live in Key West and not like Jimmy. I like his early stuff the best. I didn't used to like Jimmy until I moved here. Then one day I just got it ... the Jimmy bug. I starting recognizing the places and people in his songs. I live two houses down from where Hunter S. Thompson and Jimmy used to hang out and party. Before my time of course. But it lends a certain air of unreality to my life that I enjoy. Moving to Key west for me is like the beginning of the wizard of OZ. First the world was black and white. When I got here it changed to technicolor. Life is good here in Margaritaville. I think I'll have two or three today. Then paint my pool deck.
