Terry, thanks so much for this post.
I am pretty sure i had this show at some stage. I had a hard drive crash a couple of years back and this show (i think) was on there. I had never burned the thing.
Great to be able to hear it again.
This show is also known as 'Pine for New Jersey' (which i had) and also 'Angels In Passaic'.

Great stuff. Many, many thanks.

Chris.

Thanks for posting this Terry. I've listened to the show on the 10th but I've never heard this show before. 1979 Journey is it, great lineup! I really appreciate you sharing this show!

I-Pod's been pretty busy on "Journey Weekends" lately. (as someone called it in another post) Thanks to everyone sharing their shows! I've got some things to toss up tonight. Cya again then!

I grew up in Passaic. The Capital Theater was in the worst part of town you could imagine, but this little theater hosted every big recording artist you could think of. Styx, Foriegner, Yes, Frampton, TheTubes, Meatloaf, Angel, Kansas, even The Rolling Stones just to name a few. It's also rumored that much of KISS Alive II was recorded there. I remember months before It's release, my buddies dad was a fire marshall an did inspections on the theater while Kiss was using it for some unknown reason. There where recording trucks parked outside for at least a week, but we were not allowed to go in, and there was never anything reported publicly of this event. Sadly the Capital no longer exsists it was demolished and replaced with a parking lot and some stores.
Thanks for this Boot, it brings back those great memories.

Thank you very much.
I had the '78 show and listened to it live on the good ole' WNEW but I did not realize that they also broadcasted the '79 show.
Capitol Thater... ahhh, sure brings great memories.
