I'll try re-upping this in rar/zip format tonight for you if no one else is able to. Megaupload must have removed it or something. It is my mission to feed Neal Schon fans everywhere!!  Have you ever heard music from his pre-journey high school band called "Birthday" from 73' ? Just got a FLAC of Journey Charge of the Light Brigade and it includes 10 Journey Demos from 73' and 3 Neal Schon tracks of his band Birthday Recorded in Diamond Head 11/73. Love that Fusion Rock!  If there's demand for it, I'll try to find a way to post it here... GQ Daddy

Ok NealFan1.... Had to put it up on Rapidshare as Mega Upload was wayyyyyy slowwww..... Maybe for others who can't download from Megaupload they can get it off Rapidshare now....
Question for anyone downloading this... Do you prefer Megaupload or Rapidshare? Is there something better?

Well, that FLAC version is definately the crap. I rated it an A+ just like the encoder did in his notes. (See below) This is studio stuff with three live recordings at the end that consist of Neal's band. Any Journey purist should have this in their collection. It's size is too large for me to upload here at 511MB with my internet connection the way it is. Here's the txt file info on it. Maybe a google search might find you more information or a copy of it. And the encoder is right, Schon does an absolutely great Voodoo Chile (the guy was a kid and he was fck'in rockin it), maybe better than the man himself... well... maybe. JOURNEY-CHARGE OF THE LIGHT BRIGADE Recorded in Diamond Head 11/73 Silver>Audio>EAC>Flac A+, 5 Star The Unfinished Album by the original,pre-steve perry journey, 13tracks,11songs from the fusion tinged rockers.Includes the title song(track3&13)& more rare unrelesed masterpieces. 13 TRACKS,11SONGS(JOURNEY) 3 CONCERT CUTS featuring NEAL SCHON (PRE-JOURNEY FUSION BAND CALLED "BIRTHDAY") Recorded in Diamond Head 11/73 Neal Schon- Guitar Ross Valory- Bass Greg Rolie- Vocal, Keyboards Ansley Dunbar- Drums If you love great guitar work you want this CD.
