Post #89 from me some people will find kinda cool, others will find useless Since I cannot post my audio rip of the Kiss Tiger Stadium concert here, I decided to post the first 2 tracks I have prefacing the show on disc 1 + nearly a half hour's worth of bonus tracks I have at the end of disc 2 of my master. The first track is a phone-in interview Gene and Paul did with Doug Podell on Detroit's WRIF on 4/17/96, right when the reunion tour was first announced. Next up is the radio ad for the historic Tiger Stadium gig (originally announced with STP as the openining act before Weiland's rehab stint forced Alice In Chains to replace them a few weeks before the show). The bonus tracks are from the New Year's Eve 12/31/96 gig @ the Meadowlands Arena (as it was called then) in E. Rutherford, NJ. The KISSOLOGY 3 version of the Detroit '96 show where I ripped my audio from is missing 5 tracks: "2000 Man," "New York Groove," "Beth," "Detroit Rock City" and "Black Diamond." For my own discs of this concert, I decided to tack on versions of these songs from another "Kiss Alive Worldwide '96/'97" show with comperable sound: the New Years Eve Meadowlands show sounds similar and while it is missing "2000 Man," it also features "Co'mon & Love Me" and "I Stole Your Love." So I edited these 6 songs into a nice bonus set to flesh out my Detroit show. All in all, here is around 40 minutes of cool reunion material.
