Post #8 for me is the first part of a classic Westwood One Superstars in Concert double bill featuring Krokus and Quiet Riot (post # 9

. This is another double record set that I mastered myself a few years ago and am quite pleased with the results. I have fond memories of both "Headhunter" and "Metal Health," as I'm sure many of you do as well. This was an exciting time for the genre, and thankfully we have oodles of tastey morsels like these with which to relive our youth!

mastered from radio station-issued vinyl by myself a few years ago

Honestly, the past couple of Krokus discs smoke -- ROCK THE BLOCK and HELLRAISER. Do yourself a favor and check 'em out!

Thanks mate, but why don't you put up these shows in a higher bitrate?
With 128 kps you get 'hearable' loss.
Great show anyway.

Honestly, I didn't realize the 128 bitrate; I just uploaded these shows onto megaupload from my hard drive, once I ripped the audio onto my computer -- any idea how to change that?? Megaupload didn't give me a bitrate option.

this is opening as a 7z file, not rar? How can i burn this to a cd- my 'puter won't recognize it.

i fixed it - no worries. you posted that Armored Saint and I HAD to get it...i just downloaded a 7z download manager and figured it out from there...

Plus I HAD to snag the Y+T + Q Riot- amzaing posts, dude!

It's when you transfer your audio on your harddisc (the pc), that's when you have to set the bitrate.
Some software has a standard of 128 kps, but you can always change that in the settings.
From 192 kps it's hard to hear the loss. Hope this helps

Brilliant stuff. I remember years and years ago probably circa '83 or '84, some late night tv show played 2 or 3 live Krokus videos. Wonder if they were from this show?
