I agree with your last line - if it sounds good rock it out! I don't care what format these are done in, it's all about the sharing of real music that real fans appreciate and love. Even quality dosen't mean much. Though it does help
It's about respecting that part of history,emotion and feeling of the bands and songs we as people love.the sound qualities and formats should be the last thing on people's minds in this crazy world. I've seen some pretty rude comments posted by people on this site arguing over formats. "If you don't like it don't take it" was cool but I like "If it sounds good rock it out" even better! Thanks for the boston tea party.
