NICE! Just when I think I have all the Zeppelin I'll ever need, someone shows up with something I can't live without. Thank you!

FM broadcast source. It's from the original tapes, which technically would be soundboard and (I believe) multitracked.

Thanks for this one DeXonDaz, Had this one on CD many years ago, lent it out and never got it back. Glad to have it once again. Another great one from this era is "Another White Summer" Let me know if you want it.

You didn't have this show before. It was broadcast in 1969, lost, and was rebroadcast for the first time since '69 in December. It is a rediscovered gem, so enjoy!

Hello,
Just got done listening to this and I do believe this to be the same show I had previously. The intro to Communication Breakdown is just too distinctive. The transition from Good times Bad times to Communication Breakdown, the passing note/chord, a flub really, is the same as I remember. Also the Whole lotta Love vocalization near the end of You Shook Me is very distinctive also. Now having said that, I am not familiar enough with the early era of Zeppelin to know if this is common or not. The reason this all sticks in my head is that I was more of a Deep Purple fan and after I heard this I became a bit of a Zeppelin fan because of this show, although I am not enamored to the later live periods. Just not as exciting to me.
Anyway. The disc I had my brother sent me from Germany while in the service there in the 80s. It was one of the very first CDs I ever got. (He would normally ship me albums, Roger Chapman,Gillan,UFO Etc) It came in a plain case, off white with Led Zeppelin,Live 1969 Paris Radio on the spine and insert. The CD itself had a plain white label with the same info typed. The only other marking were an embossed stamp with a signature and the number 74. It was not as clean as this version (a bit of a rumble through out) and all the song intros by Plant were edited out, seems like part of White Summer was missing also, I don’t remember the band coming in at the end of the song. Also at the end of How Many More Times it abruptly ended with what sounded to me like a reel to reel being shut off.
As you said Enjoy…..

That likely was the Paris Theater show from London in 1971. The BBC sessions, which are widely bootlegged. There also is a show from '69 from the BBC that's widely available. This show from Paris (10-10-69) was NOT available in any form until December.
