Rest In Peace Munetaka Higuchi
(樋口宗孝, Higuchi Munetaka)
(born December 24, 1958 in Nara, Japan - November 30, 2008)

Munetaka Higuchi, the drummer and co-founder of the Japanese heavy metal band Loudness, passed away on Sunday at about 10:00 a.m. in a hospital in Osaka, Japan. He was 49. Akira Takasaki, the guitarist who met Higuchi during high school before forming Loudness, announced the news on his personal website on the same day. The official website for Loudness had announced in April that Higuchi had been diagnosed with liver cancer, and later reported in September that Higuchi went through two rounds of chemotherapy. Higuchi left a message on the website on October 16 that acknowledged that his condition had gotten worse, despite an operation to remove half of his liver.

Another trade received from a friend in Japan. The most interesting thing about this recording, is track 2, which was never "officialy released" by LOUDNESS, and, as far as I know, one of the few times they performed it.

so what you did not agree with this statement from the original seeder is that why you did not include it?

you know I have not listened to Loudness since about 1984 or so, but I guess I better Dl this and take a listen, been reading quite a few places that say Munetaka was a very talented drummer

thanx. saw them open for ac/dc in 85 if i remember correctly. he had a setup on the drums where he played some Beethoven.
