MAGMA - La Genese, l'habillage, la totale - 2005 concept in 3 shows

MAGMA - La genese, l'habillage, la totale.
Concept in 3 shows : 5 CDs
Live in France 2005

In january 2005, Magma began a serie of concerts with a new concept : showing the different stages for the elaboration of a Magma piece. This was done on a serie of 3 consecutive concerts :
- first : LA GENESE (genesis). At the begining the pieces are composed on the piano, with vocals. The first concert is then "les voix de Magma" (Magma's voices), acoustic concert with just piano and voices.
- second : l'habillage (the dressing up). After the piece is composed, the rythmic parts are arranged, with solist instruments like guitars and keyboards. The second concert is then "la rythmique de Magma" (bass, drums, guitar, key), just instrumental with no voices.
- Third : La totale. A real, complete Magma concert

You are about to hear the very first shows of this shortlived concept in 21, 22 and 27 January 2005. With some excerpts taken from other later shows on 29 january and 11 february to fix some sound problems that were on the above shows.

Hi Merci - This is superb, many thanks.
Magma are often touring in France - so it'llbe a real treat if you catch them. I wish they would do more shows in other countries, but....

Great stuff, superb sound.
Greetings from London
