Yeah, you're right -- I tried audacity in the first place and all I got was noise. Confounded encryption!

Thanks to everyone for sharing what we do have so far, and good luck to those trying to figure out how to unlock the GNR!

I cannot WAIT for the Beatles Rock Band multitracks to hit! That will be awesome!

One more question: Are the midis included with the Chinese Democracy MOGGs taken from the album or something produced independently of it? They don't sound like anything I heard on the record at all.

check this thread, the Loveology collection will help keep you occupied till the real thing.

as for the midis, something i'd not checked out at all until now, well this whole thing makes me wonder if in fact Axl was the uploader of the entire thing.

I laughed about your Axl comment!

I need to compare the midis to the CD itself. Maybe they really are burined in the mix?

well, madonna has done it in the past --- probably about 2000 or so, i napster'd whatever the new single was. or so i thought.

it was 3 and a half minutes of silence, but 20secs into it, madonna starts ranting for 30 seconds," you fucking people, downloading my work for free, blah blah blah." very funny stuff.

these showed up in the NIN forum. while not truly "solo'd" vocal tracks, the vox are signifigantly louder than the backing track. may be a help, for now.

Thanks for the hard work researching these multi-tracks Univoxxer. You mentioned that these files are pure gold. You couldn't be more right. These truly are gems. They're a blast to play around with- listening to independent tracks. If you have not gotten any of these multi-track tunes- GET THEM! They're worth the download and they're fun to hear.

glad you are enjoying, man!! they really are amongst the "must have" stuffs, both as learning tools and for entertainment purposes as well.

and again, just to be clear --- i'm culling whats imho the cream of the crop from the work of a bunch of guys to whom my debt is pretty close to unending at this point. they've done some amazing, and thoroughly invaluable, work.

Money has seperate tracks of just guitar, and of keys.

Us & Them is full of beautiful paired/three'd stuffs --- bu vox & guitar, vox and sax, piano & vox. a series of treats, each track is completely listenable on its own.

theres amore treats than that, too.

this thing is so definitely worth it for any Floyd fan.
Fantastic, but INCOMPLETE. Without "Eclipse"!!!!

Anybody has complete??????

Ler me know,

i've got Brighton Rock as well, but a few of the tracks are bunk (a couple of gtr tracks, floor tom, and some vox), so out of 24 tracks, its like 19 are there. still plenty of worthwhile stuff to play with, but not the entire thing. should that get posted as well?
Ya, post it all so I can put it in my multitracker and remix it!
