Thanks for the post.I've had the New Barbarians set on vinyl boot for several years but have never heard the Stones set,so I'm looking forward to it.Funny story about Keith's bust which set up this concert. When he was arrested in Toronto,he supposedly had so much heroin in his possession that the authorities wanted to charge him with drug trafficking. If he would have been convicted he would probably just be getting out of jail now,due to Canada's very strict drug laws. His lawyer though was able to convince the magistrate that was assigned the case, that due to his client's immense wealth as the guitarist of the Rolling Stones,he was able to buy his smack in such large quantities and that it was strictly for his own personal use.The magistrate reluctantly agreed and no trafficking charges were filed.Who says being rich doesn't have advantages.

Awesome, thank you so much!
mikeh, as a teenager, I used to read a magazine about bootleg albums in the 1980s, and I always wanted the vinyls of The New Barabarians, the photos on the covers were som eof the best I have ever seen, better than on official Stones albums I thought!
but I did not know the story, about why Keith was in some other band back then!
