Pink Floyd MegapostHeres a Floyd megapost for you guys. All these boots plus tons more can be found here http://z4.invisionfree.com/Crazy_Dia...ex.php?act=idx
Band: Pink Floyd Name: Outtakes From Outer Space Format: shn Discs: 1 Recorder: Label: Hippie Shit Label Lineage: Taper: Taper Location: Equipment: Generation: Length: 01 Lucy leave 02 Im a kingbee 03 Interstellar overdrive 04 Astronomy domine 05 Experiment 06 Flaming 07 The gnome 08 Matilda mother 09 The scarecrow 10 Vegetable man 11 Pow R toc H 12 Scream thy last scream 13 Jugband blues 14 Silas lane 15 Flaming 16 Reaction in G 17 Milky way Comments Comment: Outtakes From Outer Space Ahh Outtakes from Outer Space!! The fisrt RoIO I recieved! It is an exellant roio for starters who wish to hear what The Pink Floyd (w/ Syd) sounded like. Most of it is from live performance, but some are studio outtakes. The sound quality is very good, but I think most of these can be found on other recordings, in better quality, but what makes this recording special to me (beside the the fact that it was my first) is the track listing. All of Syd's works (with the exeption of course of the cover of Slim Harpo "I'm a King Bee"). What makes this recording a must, imho, is the two studio outtakes from 1967 (from the Piper at the gates of Dawn studio recording sessions) track 5 Experiment (also known as Sunshine) and track 14 Silas Lane (wich was later recycled by syd as Swan Lee (Silas Lang)for his solo album). Especially that last one, AMAZING!!! The only drawback is that it is too short (1:16). Makes you wonder how they would have sound as finished tracks on the PatGoD lp) But, they also include a rare outtake of Milky Way, wich isn't a Floyd outtake but rather a rare Syd solo outtakes (strangely enough they didnt date it, my guess would be 1970 for the madcap session) http://rapidshare.com/files/13058100...uter_Space.rar Pink Floyd 1967-11-13 Hippy Happy Fair Oude Ahoy, Rotterdam, Netherlands Artwork Yes Lineage: Clone of 1st gen audience tape 1. Interstellar Overdrive (14:21) Band: Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Richard Wright Note: Roger plays lead on STCFTHOTS with Syd on bass The very first recorded concert in Holland. And the only one with Syd. The sound is a little bad, but they played very good. A very important concert, because within a short time Syd was replaced by David!! Enjoy this concert!!!!!!! http://rapidshare.com/files/13054351...appy_Fair_.rar Pink Floyd Royal Albert Hall London UK 1969-02-26 Artwork Yes AUD (1st gen from master) Technical: Lineage: master > 1st gen > DAT > CD-R > Source: AUD (1st gen from master) disc one 01. Set The Controls for the Heart of the Sun (11:04) Notes: Daybreak and Work were not recorded. This is the longest and lowest generation tape of this show known. No processing, filtering, or noise reduction was done to this, as you can probably tell. This recording might be a little fast (it sounds it to me, but I'm just guessing), and there is a nasty hiss in the 8k range that many circulating copies of this show have filtered out. Despite the hiss, this has clearer sound than other copies of this show. http://rapidshare.com/files/13159844...__1st_Gen_.rar Pink Floyd Date: 18 January, 1970 Fairfield Hall Croydon Surrey England Source: RTR(1)>DAT(?) Rating: VG-/VG Disc One: 1. Careful With That Axe, Eugene 2. The Embryo 3. Main Theme From "More" 4. Biding My Time 5. Astronomy Domine Total: 53:07 Disc Two: 1. The Violent Sequence 2. Set The Controls for The Heart Of The Sun 3. Amazing Pudding (Atom Heart Mother) 4. A Saucerful Of Secrets Total: 73:51 Comments: I find this to be one of the more underestimated gigs. Some have said the performance is sloppy, but this is an incredible performance and setlist. An interesting thing about this recording is the running order, which seems to be the correct one according to "In The Flesh." Unfortunately,'Atom Heart Mother', the earliest know audience recording of this song, still runs a little short. As for sound quality, it is at best average... VG- to VG seems like a good rating. It's very listenable, cymbals come through nicely. It's quite comparable to Biding My Time In Croydon, but this doesn't have as much hiss and is in the right running order. The tracks do not include tuneups, since there is evidence that the taper stopped his recorder between songs. The recording levels are occasionally inconsistent as well. Still, it's very nice to have this show in the proper order. http://rapidshare.com/files/13061720...__1st_Gen_.rar Pink Floyd title: LEEDS 1970 disc/s: 2 release: AYANAMI-243 date/venue: 1970 February 28 - Refectory Hall, Leeds University, Yorkshire, England, UK source: audience / cass[supposed master]>cdr[0] tot length: 87:04 overall: VG+ / EX- CD1 01. Interstellar Overdrive [11:57] notes: nothing but a de-hissed version of the Leeds recording. Also, a different speed-correction was used by the Ayananami guys (the original source should be faster both than this and the HRV version). Ayanami never corrupts the recordings so much with their remasterings, the filters they use are usually pretty good, but if you've already 6 of 1 I can't see a good reason to get this. http://rapidshare.com/files/13064049...anami-234_.rar Band: Pink Floyd Name: The Injustice Of A Kaleidoscope Of Sound Format: mp3 Discs: 2 Recorder: audience Label: HY1002-A/B Lineage: Original silver CDs -> Taper: Taper Location: Equipment: Generation: Length: Artwork Yes Cd1 01 Astronomy Domine 02 Careful With That Axe, Eugene 03 Cymbaline 04 A Saucerful Of Secrets 05 Embryo Cd2 01 Interstellar Overdrive 02 Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun 03 Atom Heart Mother 04 Blues http://rapidshare.com/files/13060371...Of_A_Kaleidosc ASTRAL PROJECTION (R&D) April 29, 1970 Fillmore West San Francisco California USA Artwork Yes audience cass/1>DAT/?>CD-R/2>SHN>WAV(speed adjusted,*pitch bends) CD1: Grantchester Meadows Astronomy Domine tuning Cymbaline tuning Atom Heart Mother tuning* The Embryo* CD2: tuning* Green is the Colour* Careful with that Axe, Eugene* tuning* Set the Controls* tuning* Saucerful of Secrets tuning Interstellar Overdrive *had mild to severe speed fluctuations every 2 seconds for the length of these tracks http://rapidshare.com/files/13160951...rojection_.rar Pink Floyd 1970-09-06 Pink Floyd The Electric Factory Philadelphia USA Name: Electric Factory Format: mp3 Discs: 2 Recorder: Label: HRV CDR 021 Lineage: Taper: Taper Location: Equipment: Generation: Length: 01 Astronomy Domine 02 Cymbaline 03 A Saucerful Of Secrets 04 Interstellar Overdrive 05 Fat Old Sun 06 Green Is The Colour 07 Careful With That Axe, Eugene 08 Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun http://rapidshare.com/files/13088798...V-CDR_021_.rar Pink Floyd Crystal Palace Garden Party London, England May 15, 1971 Artwork Yes "Echoes Of a Distant Time" - Atomic Cow Recordings ACR-011 Quality: VG Overall Rating: 8/10 Disc One: 1. It's longer than others (just extra taper chatter) but is still missing the last 2 songs (I believe they have never been recovered)... This one has a bit of hiss but it's nothing like the other hissy releases that were put out... contains also the excellent performance of a very early "Return of The Son Of Nothing". http://rapidshare.com/files/13106407...tant_Time_.rar Pink Floyd Doktor Strange 1971-06-12 Palais des Sports Lyon France Artwork Yes 1. The Dark Side Of The Moon (Eclipse) is not 'officially' performed yet ... you can still feel the work in fieri and little hesitancies during the performance ... though Gilmour seems not to mess up lyrics here. Echoes unfortunately is cut before the end. http://rapidshare.com/files/13130107..._Tomorrow_.rar Enjoy
